Let's Work Together
- A Community Capacity Building Grant
|
The BCSP 'Let's Work Together' grant has been created to support the engagement of voluntary, community and faith-based organisations and groups in the community safety agenda by providing small grants through a simple application process. The BCSP Community Capacity Building Grant is managed by the Core Priority Group for Community Engagement & Empowerment (CPG for CEE). The grant supports the capacity building and infrastructure strengthening of voluntary, community and faith-based organisations to enable them to deliver efficient, effective and sustainable services which contribute to the reduction of community safety risks (more specifically drug related community safety risks) to the residents of Birmingham.
|
The grant will also support voluntary, community and faith-based organisations that express an interest in delivering drug treatment services to their local community. This will be as part of a structured programme with a focus on developing capacity and expertise to deliver drug treatment services. An end point would be to develop this capacity to meet local need.
If you know of a voluntary, community or faith-based organisation which may benefit from grant funding, contact Elizabeth Lawson-Bennett, Lead Commissioner for Community Engagement & Empowerment on 0121 675 1822 or email elizabeth.lawson-bennett@hobtpct.nhs.uk.
