Birmingham City Council & Birmingham Strategic Partnership Conduct Assessment

The Strategic Assessment of Birmingham has been conducted for the City Council, the Strategic Partnership and other organisations active in Birmingham and the wider regional area.

It presents up to date statistical evidence about Birmingham which can be used as a tool in the forward planning and policy making and shows a clear picture of what Birmingham’s position is with national and core city comparison, capturing important issues and challenges for Birmingham. The information is from an array sources including the departments around Birmingham City Council, South Birmingham PCT, Liverpool John Moores University, Learning and Skills Council, the Community Safety Partnership amongst others.

The Strategic Assessment is available in an electronic version, accessible on the internet and is updated quarterly to give timely information.  Supporting information to the Strategic Assessment consists of signpost and reference information.  These include key website addresses which signpost readers to more detailed information on each chapter in the Strategic Assessment; and gives detailed source information about where the information is from.
