In addition to the above, the group is focussing upon Vehicle Crime & Domestic Burglary which are NRF floor targets priority areas. Progress to date The LCSG has allocated its LPSA PRG (£20k) to the BSafe Evening Patrol initiative. The BCSP S&C CPG has also allocated £100k to this project because of the significant impact that it had on alcohol related violence & common assault, in the main, during the last financial year. |
Future plans
Neighbourhood policing will provide a mechanism to effectively engage with local communities (along with existing methods) to identify their neighbourhood crime issues / priorities. '0' level tasking groups are being established with the Council to enable effective responses to these issues. In addition to this, the function of the Safer Estates Groups that span the Ladywood Constituency are currently being reviewed.
The Constituency is working towards achieving an effective structure of impacting upon strategic & local crime priority in partnership with both statutory & voluntary organisations.
